Young Researchers Forum 2026 (internal session)
Young Researchers Forum 2026
The Young Researchers Forum 2026 brings together doctoral candidates, researchers, students, and industry experts to showcase innovative research, exchange ideas, and foster meaningful collaboration across academia and industry.
Throughout the day, participants will gain insights into cutting-edge research through dynamic PhD pitch sessions, inspiring keynote speeches, and an interactive poster exhibition. The forum provides a platform for young researchers to present their work, receive feedback, and connect with peers, experienced researchers, and industry leaders.
The event features distinguished speakers from Siemens and academia, including a keynote address by Prof. Dr. Joachim Hornegger, President of Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), highlighting the importance of research, innovation, and collaboration in shaping the future.
Alongside the scientific program, attendees can participate in a variety of activities throughout the day:
- Poster Exhibition – Explore ongoing doctoral and research projects and engage directly with the researchers behind them.
- FAU Graduate Center Booth – Learn about doctoral studies, support services, training opportunities, and academic development programs.
- Information Stands (optional) – Additional opportunities for information exchange, networking, and community engagement.
Organized by the Siemens PhD Network (SPN), the Young Researchers Forum is designed to strengthen connections within the research community, celebrate outstanding achievements, and inspire the next generation of innovators.
