How is simulation evolving in industry? We'd like your perspective. Since 2015, I have had the opportunity to work closely with researchers and industry experts to better understand how simulation is applied in practice. Through previous studies, we gained valuable insights into the benefits, challenges, and maturity of simulation across industries. Today, we are launching the next iteration of this effort. Together with colleagues from Technische Universität Dresden , ISTG Stuttgart, Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm , Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) , HTWK Leipzig - Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Kultur Leipzig , Siemens and EKS InTec GmbH , we are conducting a new survey to explore the current state of simulation and its ongoing transformation through data-driven approaches and AI. Some of the questions we seek to answer are: 🔹 How is simulation integrated into engineering processes today? 🔹 Where do organizations see the greatest challenges? 🔹 How are AI and data-driven methods influencing simulation workflows? 🔹 What developments can we expect in the coming years?
